Many people spend their lives whining about stuff, blaming the circumstances, people etc.
You have not been able to do that one thing or you have lacked time for it. It only displays how frivolous you are regarding that thing or are drowned in the pool of cheap pleasure.
Most of the times, the solution to the problems is mere action. If your action can’t produce fruitful results, you are either too late or banging your head against a wall(The problem is beyond your control.).
Let’s start with a few examples.
If you are Fat- You want to look good and lose weight. Quit the complaining. The solution to it is simple- Start working out and consuming healthy food. Forget cheat days.
Public speaking- If you do not possess good communication skills, then instead of watching videos on how to be a good speaker, start practising speaking.
Financial problems- If you have money problems, instead of worrying about it, create another source of income. That’s the pertinent thing to do.
Consumption is the easy part; it is execution where the true battle begins. Persistent action is what will separate you from the average people.
We need to leverage Pareto’s law into our life. 20% is thinking and 80% is action.
2 hours of execution > 10 hours of thinking.
You will watch hours of videos on how to be rich or how to be fit, rather than work on it.
Everybody wants a million dollars, but no one is willing to work for it.
Too much thinking, too much consumption is mental masturbation. It only makes you feel good in the head.
No one gives a damn about how much knowledge you are unless you are applying it. No one gives a damn about your intentions. Society is obsessed with results.
You have a wonderful idea. Good. Now narrate that idea to your kids. That idea needs to be executed, otherwise, that idea only exists in the walls of your brain.
Action is what bridges the gap between dreams and reality.
Well, if you are looking for the right opportunity, you won’t find any. Time will never be right. It’s just your mind delaying the action. Don’t be a fool to think that things will fall into place. They never will. So better start now.
Dreams don’t just happen; you make them happen.
Be a doer, not a thinker. The world rewards who do things, not the one who loads up things.
When asked people on their deathbed, What’s your biggest regret?
Their reply- “It’s the things that I didn’t do far more than the things I did.
